Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to support our clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and promoting a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide light housekeeping including laundry, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Offer companionship through engaging conversation and participating in recreational activities.
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings.
- Observe and report any changes in the client’s health, behavior, or environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a background check.
